The Mitutoyo 176-820A Toolmaker's Microscope features superior quality optics that provide high-resolution, crystal sharp, high color contrast image with excellent depth of field and is always in sharp focus at all magnifications. Newly designed LED illuminators provide enhanced observation for higher accuracy and resolution.

Other features include 15X magnification eyepiece with options for 10X and 20X and an objective lens with 2X magnification with options for 5X and 10x. The surface illumination is an oblique single-source type with a stepless brightness adjustment and a white LED light source. The transmitted illumination features a stepless brightness adjustment and a white LED light source with a green filter.
