Warranty Information

Upon receipt, the unit will be checked to see if it is still under warranty. If the unit is found to be past the warranty period or it is determined that there was damage caused by the customer, the unit will be quoted as a standard repair. If the warranty work is approved, the repair will proceed at no charge. Note that Ohaus must evaluate and approve the warranty on any parts that are replaced.

  • When the repair and calibration can be completed during the evaluation period, the repair will be completed and returned at the evaluation fee, plus freight.
  • When the repair and calibration is estimated to be more than the evaluation fee, a repair quote will be provided for approval.
  • When the unit is not repairable or if the estimate is not approved, the evaluation fee will be applied to the order and the unit will be returned un-repaired. Quoted units left past 90 days will be returned or disposed of at our discretion and the evaluation fee applied.
